Start with secure, delegated access
Bentonville Bookkeeping uses a structured digital workflow so records remain organized and monthly work does not depend on long email chains. During onboarding, you will receive clear directions for each system that applies to your engagement.
QuickBooks Online is the primary accounting platform. Whenever a service supports accountant or delegated access, please send an invitation instead of sharing your personal password. You may also be asked to connect bank or business credit-card feeds as the account owner or an authorized user.
What onboarding usually includes
- Reviewing and signing the engagement agreement, including the exact scope and responsibilities.
- Confirming the business name, primary contact and, when requested, CPA or tax-preparer contact.
- Inviting Bentonville Bookkeeping to QuickBooks Online through accountant access.
- Connecting in-scope bank and business credit-card feeds through the account owner or authorized user.
- Activating the secure document portal and uploading requested opening records.
- Confirming the first reporting period and recurring document deadline.
Client tools
Do not send passwords, Social Security numbers, tax returns, full bank statements or full account numbers through the public contact form or ordinary email. Use delegated access and the approved secure document system whenever available.
Monthly records
Consistent document delivery supports a dependable monthly close. Common requests may include bank and credit-card statements, loan statements, payment-processor reports, significant receipts and clarification for unusual transactions. Your exact list and deadline will be confirmed for your engagement.
